Go For Capacity Development

So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands. Psalms 78:72 (KJV)

Integrity of heart and skillfulness of hands are two irrefutable, inseparable keys of success. They are two formidable forces that guarantee greatness anytime, any day. Anyone who desires noteworthy success must embody these two qualities. Integrity of heart is of highest value, and it has no alternative in this world. Anything you have without integrity will ruin you. You may be highly gifted, but if you cannot be trusted, then you'll soon be disposed of. But having integrity alone is not enough to make you succeed; you need the skillfulness of hands to realise your desired success. Skillfulness of hands has to do with your capacity. Your ability to do much with little. It's your capacity to do the impossible with the available—that is, you can maximise opportunities and make chances count. It's dexterity—being able to do something and do it extremely well. It's excellence—the quality of being outstanding and extremely good at what you do.

In life, you can't rise above your capacity. If you must rise and be at the forefront, then increasing your capacity is a must. You see, it is possible to be a Christian and still fail in life because success is essentially a function of your capacity. Lack of capacity is the reason many have nothing to show for life. Capacity is the ability to do, retain, and handle something effectively. It is to be proficient; that is, you're extremely good at what you do; you're versed. It is to be efficient; that is, you're capable of producing the desired results without wasting materials, time, or energy. It is to be proactive and productive, that is, to generate results to the satisfaction of your boss. You can't be like this and not enjoy the favour and goodwill of your boss. God will bless you according to your capacity, and life will reward you according to your capacity. So to increase in capacity is to increase in greatness. You will succeed to the level to which you have capacity and fail to the level to which you lack capacity. You will be respected and honoured to the level to which you deliver on your job. This is why you must continually accept responsibility to develop capacity. Capacity is not what you wish for; you must accept responsibility to grow and develop yourself consistently.

ACTION STEP
Evaluate yourself and rate your present level of capacity. Then go ahead and make a commitment to develop capacity in essential areas you need to and start today.

In life, it is not strength that makes any man, because scripture says that by strength shall no man prevail. Likewise, no man succeeds just by his human will or efforts alone because the Word says it is not of him that wills or of him that runs but of God that shows mercy, and mercy is linked to help in our anchor text.
